This section explains the ownership and permitted use of the intellectual property on The Models’ Masterclass website and within our online courses. It is important to understand what you can and cannot do with the content and materials we provide.

1. Ownership of Content

Unless otherwise indicated, The Models’ Masterclass Ltd is the owner or lawful licensee of all intellectual property rights on our website and in our course materials. This includes (but is not limited to) all text, images, photographs, videos, audio clips, graphics, logos, design/layout, compilation of content, course curricula, and software code used on the site or in delivering the courses. The content we provide is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. All rights are expressly reserved.

Some content on our site may be licensed from third parties (for example, stock images, guest lecture videos, or collaborative course content). These third-party materials are also protected by intellectual property laws and are used by us under license or permission. We likewise respect the intellectual property rights of others, and it is our policy to obtain appropriate licenses or permissions for any third-party content we use.

Examples of our key intellectual property include: the course video lessons and their recordings; written course notes or handouts; downloadable PDF guides or checklists; the website’s look and feel; our company name and logos (e.g., “The Models’ Masterclass” name and stylized logos); and any original articles or blog posts on our site.

2. Trademarks

“The Models’ Masterclass” and our logo (and any other product or service names we may present on our site) are trademarks of The Models’ Masterclass Ltd. You are not permitted to use our trademarks without our prior written approval, unless it is part of material you are permitted to use under Section 3 below. All other trademarks on the site are the property of their respective owners (for instance, if we mention or display the logo of a modeling agency or brand as part of course content, those are trademarks of those entities, used nominatively for educational purposes).

3. Your Right to Use Our Content (License)

When you enroll in an online course or access our website content, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This means:

You may view, listen to, and read the materials on our site for your own learning and reference. For example, you can watch the course videos as many times as you like through our platform, and you can read articles or download resources for your personal use.

You may download or print materials that are explicitly made downloadable (such as a PDF worksheet or an image file provided for student use) for your personal study offline. If you print or download such content, you should keep it for yourself and not make additional copies for others.

If you are given assignments or exercises to complete as part of the course, any content we provide for those assignments (e.g., templates or examples) is under the same personal use license.

However, this license comes with important restrictions in order to protect our intellectual property and that of our partners:

No Commercial Use or Redistribution: You are not permitted to copy, redistribute, republish, or share our content with anyone else who is not licensed to use it. For instance, you cannot upload our course videos to YouTube or file-sharing sites; you cannot send the PDF resources to friends or colleagues; and you cannot use our course materials to run your own class or workshop without permission. Using our content for any commercial purpose (for example, incorporating our lessons into a paid coaching program you offer, or selling our materials) is strictly prohibited without a separate license from us.

No Derivative Works: You may not create derivative works based on our content. This means you can’t translate our course into another language and publish it, or edit our videos/text to create a new product, or use our photos in your own projects, without permission. If you have an idea for collaboration or derivative use, approach us for discussion rather than assuming it’s allowed.

No Public Display: You should not display our content publicly (e.g., playing course videos in a seminar or meeting, or posting our written content on a public blog) unless expressly authorized. The license we give is for private viewing by the enrolled student only.

No Removal of Notices: You must not remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices that are affixed to or contained within the content. For example, if a PDF course handout has a footer that says “© 2025 The Models’ Masterclass Ltd,” you should not cut that off if you print it. Similarly, if videos have intro/outro branding, you shouldn’t edit that out.

Account Access Only: Access to the digital course content is tied to your user account. You must not share your login credentials with others to allow them access to the content (as noted in the Terms of Use). The system may limit concurrent logins or flag account sharing, and violating this rule can lead to termination of access.

To summarize: You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our site or content other than for your personal educational use. This personal use license is intended to help you learn and benefit from the material, but it stops short of allowing any distribution or use that would undermine our rights or our business model.

4. User Content Intellectual Property

While most content on our site is created by us, there may be opportunities for users to contribute content (as discussed in the Terms of Use, section on User-Generated Content). We want to clarify the IP implications of that:

Your Ownership: If you post content on our site (for example, a comment, a question, an assignment submission, or a testimonial), you retain ownership of any original material you post. We do not claim ownership of your ideas, words, or images that you provide. Those remain your intellectual property.

License to Us: However, by submitting content, you grant us a license to use that content as necessary to provide our services (as detailed above in the Terms of Use). This means we can display your questions to other students, we can feature your testimonials on our site or marketing (with credit to you by first name or username), and we can keep backup copies of content on our servers. This license is worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and may be sub-licensed to our service providers (e.g., our web host) solely for operating the platform. If you delete your content or your account, we will cease public display of your content, but you acknowledge it may remain in backup or archival copies for a period of time.

Third-Party Rights: You must ensure that any content you contribute does not violate the IP rights of others. For example, do not upload a professional photographer’s image as your profile picture without permission, and do not copy answers from another source into a forum as if they were yours. If you incorporate any third-party material (like quoting an excerpt from a book during a discussion), cite the source and make sure it’s a permissible use. You will be responsible if your content infringes someone else’s rights.

5. Handling of Infringement

Reporting Infringement on Our Site: If you believe that any content on our website (including user posts or our own materials) infringes your or someone else’s intellectual property rights, please notify us at [email protected] with details. We have a policy of investigating such claims and removing or disabling content that we confirm to be infringing. If necessary, we may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. When reporting, provide sufficient information for us to locate the material and evidence of your rights or the infringement (for example, a URL to the allegedly infringing content and a description of the original work it copies).

Protecting Our Rights: We actively protect our intellectual property. This means we may employ measures (technical and legal) to identify and address unauthorized use of our content. For instance, our videos may contain watermarks or tracking information to detect piracy. If we find our content on third-party sites without authorization, we may issue takedown notices or pursue legal remedies. We also make it clear to our students (through these terms) what is and isn’t allowed to foster respect for IP. We appreciate your cooperation in not encouraging piracy (e.g., please don’t share your course files on torrent sites or social media).

6. Exceptions and Requests

If you wish to use any content from our site or courses beyond the scope of the personal license granted (for example, if you’re a teacher who wants to show a portion of our course to your students, or if you want to quote a chunk of our course text in a blog post with attribution), please contact us to request permission. We often will grant educational or promotional use requests if they are reasonable and properly attributed, but you must obtain a clear okay from us first. Do not assume any tolerance of a use constitutes permission; always check if unsure.

Also, certain content may be offered under alternative licenses. For example, we might have an open-access blog article that is under a Creative Commons license, or we might explicitly state that a particular template can be shared with attribution. If such specific licensing is noted on the content, that license will override this general policy for that content.

7. Acknowledgment

By accessing our site and courses, you acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in our content remain with us or our licensors. You have no ownership or proprietary rights in the content – you have a license to use it under the stated terms. Unauthorized use of the content may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, privacy and publicity laws, and/or communications regulations and statutes.

Any breach of the rules in this Intellectual Property Rights Statement may result in immediate termination of the license granted to you, and possibly legal action against you for injunction and damages. We’d much prefer everyone simply use the content as intended and respect the creative effort behind it.

In summary, we encourage you to enjoy and learn from our materials, but please do not misuse them. The personal, non-commercial use license is there to give you freedom to study on your own terms, but any broader use requires our permission. By following these guidelines, you ensure that we can continue creating high-quality content for our students, and you avoid any infringement issues.

Thank you for respecting our intellectual property rights and those of others. If you have any questions about what is or isn’t allowed, feel free to reach out to us for clarification.
